The Main Villa
The Main Villa is laid out over 3500 sq ft and consists of two double en-suites and two twin rooms with their own outside bathrooms. We can accommodate 8 – 9 guests in the main villa.
The villa’s spacious living room has deep sofas, an antique dresser packed with DVDs and board games and a library of inspirational books and information on Sri Lanka. The music system plays both CDs and iPods. Explore our iTunes library, or plug in and play your own music. The fully equipped kitchen is free to use if you fancy cooking yourself. All the rooms in the main villa are furnished with cool terrazzo floors, colonial antique furniture, local carvings and scatter cushions.
Outside, a 130ft terracotta-tiled and plant-filled veranda is hung with brightly coloured hammocks and filled with sculpture, a deep sofa and antique tea planters’ chairs for you to relax into. It’s a wonderful place to enjoy the stunning views afforded by the villa’s hilltop position, as paddy fields and lush jungle spread out below.
Frangipani & Thambili Suite
Four-poster beds are the centrepieces of these airy double suites that sleep either a couple or a single guest. Teak-shuttered doors open to a rustic terracotta and ceramic bathroom with power shower. Both rooms have ceiling fans and air conditioning, as well as plenty of storage space.
Mimosa Suite & The Library Room
These twin rooms connect to the main suites and can accommodate up to 2 guests each in single four poster beds. For groups needing more space for kids, there is a mezzanine sleeping space in Mimosa that can accommodate a further guest. Ceiling fans and air-conditioning cool the rooms, which are both connected to their own outside bathrooms.
Note: All beds are draped with large, white mosquito nets.
